we're flying to california in december.
oh yeah, the tickets are one way flights.
let me rephrase that, we are moving back to california, just before the winter really gets here :) x1000

we've been here in brooklyn for just a little over a year, & really had a great time getting to know this place. it's become clear to both of us that it's not for us...not now, anyway.
the day we made the decision to move back, was followed by a couple weeks of the best weather, ever. i thought, no, shoot, we made the wrong decision.
but no. i'm going to just love coming to visit nyc.
i grew up in spokane, washington, where i had four seasons. but you wont believe how quickly you get unused to bad weather, living in los angeles.
i miss the (west coast) ocean, the fresh salads, 70 degrees most of the year & just the relaxed california lifestyle.

california here we come!!

i'll leave you with some photos.... bye!

  5. Oh wow. It's a big move to make. I may end up studying at NYU Stern in the fall and we are (my hubs & I) trying to decide if I'll move or we'll both move. It's tough. But you can't beat CA weather and yeah yr round fresh fruits & veg.

  8. ahhh. NYC. you've been (re)presenting this city (or at least the cooler part of it) very well. and when I think where would I want to live if I moved to the states, the default answer is always New York, but would I really? I mean, I guess it's an amazing city but when you can choose from 50 different states with different weather conditions and other features... Why suffer when you can have sunsunsun and no freaking snowstorms. OR you could live in NYC in springs and summers, and move to California for the cold part of the year, haha.
